Annual Preceptor Updates

Are Requirements of the West Virginia Office of Emergency Services and Accrediting Bodies.
2020 Mandatory Updates
Effective immediately.  All preceptors MUST complete annual updates to remain active.  These updated can be completed in person at the scheduled meeting, or online.

The EMT-Basic curriculum has been revised to include more emphasis on clinical internship experiences.  Please reach out to me with any questions on EMT-B rotations you may have.

Beginning January 1, 2017, the NREMT started testing Phase 1 of the new PARAMEDIC scenario based psychomotor exam.

The NREMT developed a PARAMEDIC Student Portfolio of vital skills that each paramedic student must master to qualify for the NRP Certification examination.

Time and expectations for EMS professionals are changing.  That means the way we deliver our curriculum has to change as well.  Students are exposed to a flipped classroom experience with emphasis on group dynamics and experiential learning. 
Our courses include an immersive workplace environment to prepare providers for the workplace.
